MIYA
Premium Gyokuro
Description
2024 harvest
MIYA is a refined dento hon gyokuro made by Kogacha Gyo in Yame. The tea highlights the wonders of the saemidori cultivar with its rich umami characteristics and highly fragrant and sweet aroma.
Complex notes of nori, fresh cut grass, and asparagus accent this tea’s light-hued liquor. As this tea is enjoyed, subtle notes of persimmon, edamame, and sweet pea will continue to develop over many steeps.
Packed with caffeine, this premium dento gyokuro should be enjoyed in the late morning or early afternoon. An extraordinary example of the excellency of Yame tea masters, one of the jewels of Kogacha gyo.
