In the mountains of Miyazaki prefecture, in Takachiho, Kashima san has selected the best leaves from local tea farmers to produce the hallmark of Miyazaki green tea: kamairicha. KAGURA is a highly aromatic prize-winning kamairicha.
Plucked in May, its aroma is distinctive enough to have earned its own technical term, "kama-ka" (pan-fired aroma). With its low astringency and low caffeine, its mellow golden liquor is smooth and refreshing on the palate and can be enjoyed throughout the day.

KASHIMA SHIGERU
KASHIMAEN specializes in the production and processing of authentic Japanese green tea, with a particular focus on the rare and distinctive Kamairicha of Miyazaki Prefecture.
The company works with tea from the mountainous Takachiho area, where elevations of approximately 300–700 metres, significant day-and-night temperature differences, frequent morning mist and surrounding mountain ranges create favourable conditions for high-quality tea.
These natural conditions help develop sweetness and umami in the leaves. Its Kamairicha has received recognition in Japan and internationally, including the Miyazaki Kamairicha “Kamaō”, Japanese Tea Award and Japanese Tea Selection Paris awards.
