Selected by tea master Domoto san at Meichaen in Fukuoka, MUTSUMI is an outstanding competition-grade first-flush sencha meticulously crafted by Hoshino Seicha in the pristine village of Hoshinomura.
Grown with minimal use of pesticides, this remarkable sencha is mainly made with Saemidori cultivar. MUTSUMI unfolds in the cup with a crystalline liquor and a pure, elegant aroma, offering a sophisticated harmony of flavours. with a smooth, mellow aftertaste that gently lingers, providing an unforgettable tea experience.

A solid "regular" tea. Takes 3 steepings quite well: other sencha with this claim have usually only worked for 2 for me. Had to adjust from the steeping instructions to steep a bit longer (more like 45s) to get a full flavor.
