Description

AA delicious and original green tea set, combining 125g of premium gyokuro and 2 x 125g of premium sencha, among the best that Hoshinomura-grown tea has to offer. Hoshino is a remote village located deep in the mountains of Yame area, in Fukuoka. With its morning fogs and crisp rivers, its micro-climate makes it perfect to grow a premium green tea that has made its reputation throughout Japan.

The perfect balance between umami and sweetness of these teas will delight all green tea connoisseurs. Their strength and long-lasting taste make them unforgettable. Both can be re-brewed several times.

KUMIKO KOGA

Koga Kumiko san represents the fourth generation at her family business KOGACHA GYO in Yame, Fukuoka. Working alongside her mother, president of the company, and her father, director of operations, she is a tea instructor.

Dedicated to lead her company through the challenges of the green tea industry in the 21st century, she is in charge of overseas sales. She also travels around the world to give tea seminars to introduce Yame green tea to foreign tea lovers.
