Important Notice for U.S. Customers

On August 29th, 2025, the United States has removed the $800 de minimis exception for small imports.

As of the end of November 2025, a 15% tariff applies to all non-tea products (such as cups, tea pots, etc.). Green tea, matcha, tea powder, black tea are now exempted from tariffs.

For our retail customers in the USA

Tariffs are only included in our product prices when applicable (tea ware, tea accessories). This means that you pay these tariffs together with your order. 

IKKYU will then remit the duty amount directly to Fedex and the U.S. Customs on your behalf (Delivered Duty Paid - DDP - rule). 

Please note that delays are expected at customs clearance due to the impact of these changes and it might take a little longer than usual for your order to arrive.
