TOKONAME
Round Handmade Kyusu in Beige Clay
Description
Tokoname pottery dates back to the 12th century. The town is located in northern Japan (Aichi). It has a great reputation for the quality of its kyusu (traditional tea pot).
This round beige kyusu is in clay. Its inner stainless steel mesh retains the leaves while allowing smooth pouring of the liquid. We love its delicate flowers engraved by hand on the lid and body.
Perfect for daily use and for your family. Capacity: three cups.
Contains: 350cc/11.8oz

très jolie théière, ravie de mon achat, seule petite déception elle n'est pas signée
Tokoname, a classical.
As soon as you hold the teapot in your hand, you feel the master craft of Japan. :) It is perfectly balanced, the lid adjusts perfectly and the raised handle makes it easy to control the pouring of tea. I like the shape of this teapot, it has a "kawai" vibe. Just the right tool for pouring a great cup of tea. Thank you for your selection. :)
Light Brown Tokoname Teapot
This is my go to, daily, green tea only tea pot. One of the joys of my day is saying good morning to Humphrey I as call him and we discuss what we will tackle today. The Tokoname tea pot will become a friend, who you will spend many happy moments with. Enjoy
Light Brown Tokoname Teapot
Got this and several types of tea for my best friend. She was thrilled with the item and loved the design and craftsmanship. Item is fantastic and exceeds any expectations. Her favourite tea she's tried so far was Kazuhiro. Shipping and processing time was also fantastic. I ordered the items on January 25th for her birthday (Feb 28th) not sure what to expect with international shipping to Canada. And all items arrived neatly packed on January 30th!
