YŪKYŪ
Competition Sencha
Description
2025 first harvest
Plucked at the end of April, YUKYU is an outstanding jewel prepared by Koga cha gyo. A limited production, this sencha was made to celebrate the 600th anniversary of Yame tea by sharing its history with each sip.
A blend of Sae midori and Yabukita, this competition-grade sencha grown in the heart of Yame in Kurogi embodies the essence of Yame sencha: an exceptional flavor and refreshing aroma, umami rich, round, without any bitterness, with a long-lasting sweetness.
While incredibly sweet, YUKYU is also packed with caffeine, making it the perfect tea to start your day.
