Description

2023 harvest

This premium organic shiraore by tea master Irie san in Kuroki (Yame) is a delicacy for all senses.

Made with leaves, stems and twigs from leaves used for gyokuro, it is filled with umami that greets you as soon as you open the bag. Its white-gold stems stand out in beautiful contrast against the deep green color of the leaves.

As theanine is found double the amount in the stems and twigs as compared to in tea leaves, JIN is a great source of this precious amino acid that contributes to lowering blood pressure, relaxation, and protection of neuronal cells. Its low caffeine levels contribute to making JIN an excellent choice for people with poor caffeine tolerance.

Quickly and easily brewed in just 30 seconds with 90C water, JIN's beautiful liquor has no bitterness, and its sweetness and umami come with a satisfying lingering astringency. Nourishing, this is the perfect tea for your mid-morning break to hang on until lunch.

solid kukicha

A solid shiraore. Compared to "ikki" the flavor is milder (less grassy), but a bit less "full" overall. You can't go wrong with this compared to anything I've found on Amazon.

Jin is a big winner

I have tried many tea companies. Looking for high-quality tea. After many years, I finally found the store to buy tea from as far as Jin goes it’s wonderful, having a lower caffeine tea that taste great. On my next order, I will be placing a quantity order for Jin.
