RIKU
Premium Matcha
Description
2026 first harvest
Plucked during the first harvest in Kagoshima and carefully selected by Yoshiaki Nakayama, RIKU is a stellar matcha made to be enjoyed both straight and in latte.
Nutty and aromatic Okuyutaka and Yutakamidori tencha is slowly roasted in a traditional roasting furnace, bringing out a roasted aroma that doesn't overpower the natural tea taste of matcha, and a deep, layered fragrance.
Even when blended with milk, its aroma stands out clearly, allowing the rich umami and roasted notes of matcha to spread throughout the latte. Naturally sweet, with only a hint of bitterness.
Nakayama san calls RIKU "perfect for those who truly care about their matcha lattes. Expertly crafted to achieve the perfect balance of sweetness, bitterness, aroma, and umami, making it a perfect match for milk."
Nakayama san recommends to use 5g per serving for a latte with an intense and rewarding matcha time experience.
You can also also use RIKU for your Usucha matcha with 2-3g per serving.
Sold in 40g and 250g bags.
