Handmade "108" Kyusu with Integrated Mesh
Description
This modern-looking teapot in clay is of typical size for two servings.
The mesh is directly carved into the pot, with 108 dots pierced by hand in reference to the Japanese character for tea 茶, which is composed of the characters for 10 and 8.
Tokoname kilns date back to the 12th century and are located in northern Japan (Aichi). It has a great reputation for its clay quality.
