The leaves are big, with an elliptical shape and a dark green color. The liquor yields mild cereal notes and a mustard leaf aroma.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- \u003cstrong\u003eTakachiho oolong\u003c\/strong\u003e (green label). Takachiho cultivar is a specialty from Miyazaki prefecture, created in the 1950s, for making kamairicha; its name is a nod to its place of birth. Its long and pleasant aftertaste and light astringency make it perfect for oolong tea.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou can prepare up to four brews in a row. Japanese oolongs tend to be more similar to Taiwanese oolongs than Chinese oolongs. \u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThe processing method of oolong sits between black and green tea.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eWith their shorter oxidation period, they have a refreshing flavour that is closer to a green tea but still with some of the creamy, deeper elements of a Chinese oolong or even a black tea.
